Creative Block Isn’t Resistance
People think writer’s block only happens to writers.
But creative block shows up everywhere
in the workplace, in the studio, on set.
I see it all the time.
Someone steps in front of the camera and suddenly, they change.
Their shoulders tense up. Their face goes flat.
Or they start performing, trying a little too hard.
It’s not that they forgot how to be themselves.
It’s that a part of them doesn’t feel safe being seen.
That’s what block really is. Not resistance, not laziness.
It’s protection.
When someone feels safe. When there’s trust. Everything changes.
The guard comes down.
That’s when you see the real person.
